The Seditas
Cape Cod Anniversary Session | Gina & Amanda
I can always tell when a shoot is delivering that incredible cinematic energy, this one with Gina and Amanda on Cape Cod was exactly that.
We spent time moving between the marsh and the beach at golden hour and through sunset, letting things unfold without much structure. The light was soft, the landscape felt wide open, and everything about the evening had this quiet, steady kind of energy. Nothing rushed, nothing forced.
And then at some point, they just… went for it. Straight into the ocean, fully committed, no hesitation—neck deep, laughing, completely in it together.
Those images ended up being some of my favorites, understated, intimate, a little dramatic, and just full of feeling.
Gina is also an old friend of mine, which made this one hit a little differently. Getting to see her like this, with Amanda, so grounded and happy and fully herself. It’s hard to put into words, but it felt really special to witness.
The whole session settled into this really warm, cinematic palette—soft golds from the field, muted greens through the marsh, and then those deeper, moodier tones once we got into the water. Everything felt a little hazy in the best way, like the light was just wrapping around them instead of sitting on top. There’s this mix of wide, open space and really close, quiet moments that gives the gallery a lot of depth—it moves from expansive and airy to something much more intimate without feeling disconnected. Even the way their movement shows up in the images—barefoot in the grass, drifting through the marsh, then fully submerged in the ocean—there’s a through-line that keeps it all feeling grounded but still a little bit cinematic.
If you’re spending time on Cape Cod and want something like this—something that feels honest and a bit unfiltered—I’d love to be there for it. Most of my work is based in and around Doylestown, PA and the greater Bucks County area, but sessions like this on Cape Cod are always something I look forward to each season. There’s something about being near the water that shifts everything a little—people slow down, let go, and settle into each other in a different way.
If you’re planning time on Cape Cod, or looking for a family or couples photographer in Doylestown, PA, these sessions are always centered around the same thing—connection, presence, and letting things unfold naturally.
