My photography is all about real moments, strong composition, and a sense of place.

My work lives somewhere between documentary and editorial—honest, unfussy, and focused on light, connection, and the in-between. I shoot with both digital and film, depending on the feeling we’re after. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a family session, or an artist in their studio, I aim for images that feel calm, natural, and considered, something you can return to over time without getting tired of looking.

I care about subtlety: how people move when they’re comfortable, what the light’s doing at the edge of the frame, what happens just before or after the expected moment. I’ll offer guidance where it’s helpful, but mostly I watch, listen, and let things unfold.

Salt & Stag is named for the two places that shaped how I see: the New England coast where I grew up, and Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where I live now. The contrast between ocean and woods, clarity and shadow, still influences the way I work. I like a little stillness. I like when things aren’t perfect.
